Airport Transfers in/to New York City - JFK, LaGuardia & Newark

Guide to NYC Airport Transfers

Airport transfers in New York City are highly organised and tourists and travellers to the city will find it easy to secure airport transfers, for any of the three airports that service the metropolis. NYC’s three airports are John F. Kennedy (JFK) International Airport, La Guardia Airport (LGA) and Newark International Airport (EWR). JFK Airport is located in Queens, and most international flights land here.

There are various options when it comes to transportation from JFK. The New York Airport Service Express Bus runs from JFK to several locations in Manhattan, and the Express Shuttle USA charges about $14 for a ticket from Manhattan. Visitors cancontact the ground transportation desk for details on this bus.

Domestic flights are dealt with at LGA, which is also in Queens, and EWR handles bothinternational and domestic flights. AirTrain JFK Airport shuttle from JFKis a rail line that facilitates the movement of passengers to and from NYC. A similar line, AirTrain Newark, connects EWR to the city. You can take the ETS Air Shuttle to EWR from Queens, Brooklyn or the Bronx. This excellent door-to-door service costs about $30.

There are subway services from all three airports, and taxis are easily available as well. In addition to these transport options, there are several private shuttle operators who offer transport to the city or to other airports, such as New York Airport Limousine Services, NY Limo Pros and Golden Touch.

At La Guardia, the ground transportation counter will assist visitors with airport transfer information. Taxis, car services, bus and van services such as the Super Shuttle are available. If you do not have much luggage with you, using the subway is a good idea, as this can get you to and from LGA conveniently and quickly.
